Hamptons International marks its 11th year of sponsorship at The Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park

Leading residential agent, Hamptons International, was proud to sponsor the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park last weekend (1-3 August 2014) for the 11th consecutive year.

Across the weekend, Hamptons International played host to a variety of visitors. Guests at the property agency’s VIP lunch on Friday were lucky enough to be welcomed by Peter Phillips, who expressed his pleasure in having Hamptons supporting the event. He also gave an insight into the background and history of the Festival and the Cross Country course as designed by his father, Captain Mark Phillips. A Hamptons International stand was also in place throughout the weekend which entertained guests of all ages with face painting, a drawing competition and ‘Guess the Price’, complete with prizes each day and refreshments for all.

As in years previous, Hamptons International partnered with top British event rider, Harry Meade. Harry led a Cross Country Course Walk and partook in a Q&A session, shedding light on how professional riders prepare before a world class event as well as providing top tips on finding the right equestrian property. Hamptons International also ran a competition to win a day shadowing Harry at an event in aid of their corporate charity Cancer Research UK and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Andrew Marshall, Senior Regional Sales Director at Hamptons International comments: “We were thrilled to sponsor the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park once again. Across three glorious days of eventing, we were delighted to play host to our existing clients, forge relationships with new ones and welcome local visitors as well as those who had travelled from further afield to the Festival. We hope our sponsorship will continue for many years to come in what is a hotly anticipated fixture in our calendar.”
