Liquid error: invalid date

01 Name

Julia Garber

02 Job title

Director (Lettings), Sandfords

Marylebone office

03 Where do you live?

Maida Vale.

04 How long have you been in London?

Twenty-seven years.

05 Preferred mode of transport

I live close to both Maida Vale and Warwick Avenue Tube stations, on the Bakerloo Line, so I can travel to pretty much anywhere with great ease, but I often walk home from work in the summer.

06 Favourite London view

The view of the City from the Thames. I went on a boat tour starting at Big Ben and finishing at Greenwich and it was great to see London’s iconic landmarks from the water, especially the bridges.

07 Ideal weekend in London

Dining out is my favourite pastime, so I’d start by having drinks and tapas with friends in Fitzrovia on Friday evening. Saturday: shopping, followed by brunch, yoga, and finishing off with my family and eating out somewhere new. Sunday, I’d have early dinner at a gastro pub.

08 Favourite restaurant

For an easy business lunch, I enjoy Côte on Devonshire Street. With the family, Lemonia -
a beautiful Greek restaurant in Primrose Hill.

09 I’ve always meant to…

Go on a London tour bus. I’ve done it in many
other cities, but never my own.

10 The best thing about my patch

What I love most about Marylebone is its strong community and ‘village’ feel. I’ve developed great relationships with clients and competitors, shop owners and people who live and work here, plus it’s just a 10-minute walk to Fitzrovia, Regent’s Park and Mayfair. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.
