03 Where do you live?

04 How long have you been in London?

All my life.

05 Preferred mode of transport

From home, I can be at Waterloo by train in just 10 minutes. I’d love to cycle more, but feel driving is the safer option! I work just a few miles away, near Putney Bridge, and if the river taxi was more frequent and made more stops, that would be a lovely way to travel to the office.

06 Favourite London view

The 15th-floor terrace of Putney Wharf Tower has breathtaking panoramic views: from Putney Embankment and the Wembley arch in the west to the London Eye and the Shard in the east.

07 Ideal weekend in London

A long walk through Wimbledon Common with my dogs followed by lunch at the Fox & Grapes, then shopping in Wimbledon Village.

08 Favourite restaurant

The Boathouse pub in Putney Wharf is hard to beat: al fresco dining with fabulous river vistas and reasonably priced food. Eating smoked mackerel on a sunny day, you feel as if you’ve been whisked away to the Mediterranean!

09 I’ve always meant to…

Go to the Shard to see the amazing views of London at night and have cocktails and dinner
at Oblix.

10 The best thing about my patch

I love Earlsfield’s community spirit. Both my children went to school locally and it has so much to offer: sports facilities, parks and cycling on the Wandle Trail. Garratt Lane has great eateries, like Mel’s - one my favourites for informal dining. You don’t really need to travel into central London with such a vast array of shops, restaurants and outdoor pursuits on your doorstep.
